A recent report of the State of the Wildlife Economy in Africa by the African Leadership University indicated that the fast-growing wildlife economy in South Africa is contributed mainly through the hunting sector. Therefore hunting serves as a valuable foundation to promote sustainable use as a conservation strategy in South Africa.
