Dedicated Sports Person

By completing this course, you are able to apply to become a dedicated sports person in terms of the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000.
See rules of becoming a dedicated sport shooter under the Sports Shooting section of this site.

This is the theoretical part of the assessment. You would also need to submit the practical assessment after completion thereof.

Once the practical and theoretical assessment has been successfully completed, may you submit your application.

This course covers aspects of the Firearms Control Act, Firearm Safety and Shooting Range Behavior and various Sport Shooting Bodies and disciplines.

Learning assumed to be in place:
This course is designed for firearm owners who are already in possession of a firearm competency and own a firearm for sport shooting activities.

At the end of each lesson, mark it as “Complete” and proceed to the assessment questions
